There have been a number of pollution events from Bell Street Main Drain in the last month. A couple of them were reported to the EPA. This might account for the high pH levels recently - up to as high as 9. There have also been one or two high rainfall events, though no flooding to speak of. The creek was looking pretty clean and clear today.
