Waterwatch Victoria Data Management System Privacy Statement

The Waterwatch Victoria Program is managed by Corangamite Catchment Management Authority, with financial support provided by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP).

Some specific parts of the website, such as the Waterwatch Data Management System and the Saltwatch pages, allow you to enter data or may invite you to submit your views and opinions on the Waterwatch Victoria Program.

Collection of Personal Information and Other Information

The Waterwatch Victoria website collects anonymous information through web servers. Information such as the number, date and timing of visits to the website and the pages of the website visited frequently is collected for statistical purposes only to assist us to improve our service.

All river health data and information collected by you and entered into the Waterwatch Data Management System may be made available to the general public, online.

Access to your Personal Information

All personal information that you put into the Waterwatch Data Management System via the My Profile page, will be available to all Waterwatch Coordinators in your Region and System Administrators. If you are concerned, please do not put the data into the System and contact your Waterwatch Coordinator directy for advice.
