Low rainfall (<15mm) during March, dry conditions prevail however milder temperatures have been experienced following extremely hot periods during summer months. Mosquito fish still survive in remaining pools of the creek that are now showing some turbidity (not severe enough to register with the turbidity tube) as a result of algal and plant growth. During late March the first low morning temperatures for the year have been experienced (10 -15degC). Water temperature is decreasing compared to previous months whereas pH, conductivity & turbidity are increasing.
