There was less litter than usual at the site, and there were only a few polystyrene balls in the pit drain this time. Most of the litter mentioned above has been on the dam ledges for some time, left there after heavy rainfall. The scum was below the dam wall. Bursaria and Cumbungi are in flower now. The new wetland has dried up. The weed Montbretia is flowering and is spreading throughout the site. Cicadas were calling and there were blue dragonflies in flight. BIRDS: Kookaburra, 2 Chestnut Teal, 9 Wood ducks, (7 0f them were juveniles). Ravens, Mudlarks, Rainbow Lorikeets, Bronzewings, Noisy Miners. There was a small tadpole in our sample, .
