The cumbungi and other water plants continue to seriously infiltrate the waterway … almost blocking it in some areas of this site. The oil slick on several sections of the waterway was particularly bad today. I briefly saw a large eel (could actually have been two … very active, thrashing around in the water, perhaps because I had just disturbed it/them) There were ducks on the water (a common sight here) Ammonium and Phosphate were high.
