Found a freshwater mussel.  Moorabool means freshwater mussel in traditional language and we found one !!

Fallen trees.  No leaves yet on the birch and beech decidiuous trees.  Water looks a little higher than two weeks ago. Noticed a trail camera.

Heard; birds (magpie), traffic, crack of twigs, water flowing and wind in the trees

Saw; Trees.  The students thought that the trees were dead so staff explained that they were exotic deciduous trees that have not formed their spring leaves yet.
