The water was too yellow to get a reading from our Ammonium Nitrate test.  There was a slimy algae present in the water column and pond bed. There was some type of Azola plant present on the surface of the water.

 

We think the tea colour of the water is because tannens have leached into it from the mulch surounding the pond.
