# the waterway just downstream from my sampling point is particularly obstructed by reeds etc. at present, so even though the flow was rated as “slow”, the depth (30cm) was a bit above average because of the damming effect of the vegetation [see photo]
There was a lot of rubbish at the site this month, washed down (and caught) after heavy rain about 9 days ago
