What has changed since last time you monitored? Less turbid (200 on 28/4/2010, Drought monitoring) but still muddy. Less Phosphate (0.5 on 13/04/2010, Monthly monitoring) but still a poor result. More Ammonium (0.02 on 13-04-2010, Monthly Monitoring), Higher pH (7.2 on 13/04/2010) What stands out about the site today? The amount of rubbish in and beside the creek, and under the bridge. Could this please be cleared - see emailed phoot, by An. These large items are about 100m upstream from the bridge Other observations: Banks eroded and silt/sand/stones deposited. Weed, Delairea odorata spreading. Acacia dealabata (in bud) overhanging creek more now. Willow has lost its leaves. 2 wood ducks, 1 black duck (schrub wren yeterday) Wood ducks with 12 small chicks at nearby Edendale Farm. Water level on Stake: 13cm Temperatures for phosphate and ammonium samples were 21.8 degrees C and 28.80 degrees C respectively. Rainfall: 0.8mm in last 24 hrs, 3.2mm in last 3 days, 15.6 mm in last 7 days.
