There have been some structural changes to the site since last monitoring. Rocks have been piled up where the drain exits from underground, creating a dam wall, which will be quite a deterrent to anyone thinking of walking into/through the drain. The water now cascades through a gap to one side, making a very pleasant sound, and the whole area looks considerably more attractive too. Change of sampling sopt: I am not sampling just above the rock wall (slightly upstream from the previous spot).. the septh and accessibility is much better here, now that the water has been dammed. The ammonium levels were unsually high today, I also sampled further upstream at the Nerreman wetland YDI833 (4:40 pm 11/11) & found similar leels. Nerreman phosphate: 0.15 at 24.9 C Nerreman ammonium: 0.45 at 25.4 C North and South inlet drains: no flow.
