15cm or silt and ash above site. Site of WW1 scout camp, now burnt but not serious issue. Maybe some asbestos. Area of park is only 500m downstream of serious blackberry which is likely to spread into Park as result of fires. Area is bird transect for Birds Aust.Satin Bower, Wonga pigeon, Powerful Owl nest site. Leewen Honeyeater. Large billed scrub wren badly affected, need mid storey so none here at present. Galaxias solidus caught here in past.
