Flows during the week must have been strong and high to produce the debris in and around the Creek. The water level at Oxley Bridge was 0.4 metres in height at time of testing. Considering the amount of water rushing under the bridge during the week, the sample was clear as usual. A considerable increase in salinity is yet again a concern. The Creek at various intervals going back to Calwell Road revealed a good height and quality. Watsons Creek section with the township upstream, was flowing quickly, gold fish spotted (again). Frog activity is high. The amount of juvenil crickets amongst the marginal vegetation is incredible. Sighted a White faced heron and small Kingfisher upstream from Oxley's bridge. Took pictures of Odonata sopecies which consisted of Metallic Ringtail, Common Bluetail, Wandering Ringtail Damsels, Common flatwing and juvenil Emerald Dragonfly. Not many dragonflies.
