Although there was rainfall in the last 24hrs it was not enough to increase height of creek water or make it any clearer for a proper sample. This reflected the non flow into Banyule Creek at Viewbank which I noticed the previous day while water monitoring. The water is showing signs of increseing algae build up at areas where the depth of water is low. The slight smell hasn't become a problem at the moment. It appears we are entering the same scenario as last year prior to the drought. Apart from snails and several bloodworm bug activity is low.
