Although water is low, previous rainfall had significantly cleaned up the creek contamination. Aquatic diversity has never been high. Even though the quantities were low in some cases, single species, it was the appearance of diversity that was important. No quantities were recorded for SIGNAL purposes as more time was allocated to searching further bugs. Chemical parameters when compared to November was exceptional considering the amount of rainfall during December. Sighting of a cranefly larvae and orbital snail was the first for the creek. Macro-invertebrates present: damselfy, scavenger beetle, leeches, freshwater snail, orbital snail, flatworms, seed shrimp, cranefly larvae, mosquito larvae, bloodworm, segmented worm. Rubbish present: cans and tennis balls.
