The area has been cleared all around of woody weeds, sallow wattle, ti-tree felled, sweet pittosporum, dandelions and sweet vernal grass, blackberries cut and painted, hand weeded under Melbourne Water grant. Fox den located in vicinity, Swamp Rats at home. Looking good. Maidenhair ferns, microlenae, red fruiting sedge, melaleuca scrub spreading. Branches have been temporarily piled in the creek in order to slow down the water discharges from Waterview Ridge, as it has not been connected yet. Two rain events (over 100mls) have deposited major amounts of silt from that site.
