Type of flow: Upstream drain not flowing, but had been. Dissolved Oxygen : 49% saturation What has changed since last time you monitored? The lake has been dredged and some Cumbungi removed. plantings have been driven over and fencing to protect lakeside vegetation removed, but all will be restored, more open water now What stands out about the site today? Flattened vegetation after heavy rain. Piles of rubbish below dam wall, and scummy water there, clear water in lake. Better bug count (rating good) Other observations: Common bronzewings, swallow, rainbow lorikeets, pair of grey teal, pair of Pacific Black ducks, Balahs, Noisy Miners, Pile of branches blocking tunnel under Nerreman Gateway Spotted Marsh Frogs calling and a pobblebonk. Cumbungi blocking waterway upstream. rainfall: 5mm in last 7 days, 53mm from 6/3/10 to 16/3/10 litter: lots of bottles, balls, some plastic bottles in pit drain near dam, lots of rubbish on ledges below dam wall
