observations: sunny / cloudy. Rained 10.3 mm during last week. Approx. 1m, wide shallow stream. Flowing freely over sand bar above bridge. Slow and permanent water flow. Clear water with a slight stained brown appearance. Water level up 42 mm since 6/7/09. having continued to fall further 22mm to low point 28/7/09. 2-5 m wide. Drain: dug out drain around picnic area functioning well but under road drain further up hill blown and debris spreading across road. Since recent rain. Litter - paper, bottles, cans, plastic. Campers at site today. Have lit illegal fire above beach steps but did clean up their mess. Supermarket trolley in river below beach.
