Weather conditions at the time of sampling was cloudy, overcast has some sunlight and some rain During the last 24 hours there has been 0.4mm of rain The water appearance is clear with a stained brown Water flow is permanent and slow 1 meter wide stream above bridge flowing well flow out below main pool pretty constant Stream depth and width: Since 7/6/09 level relatively constant with low points (310 (8mm below 7/6)) on 1/7 then up to (348) today Average stream width 2 to 5 meters, 21 meter wide stream above bridge flowing well Drains: "I dug out masses of loose road material from blocked drain behind car park before recebt rain to good effect" DSE has done some clearing of bank erosion under stairs to beach which resulted from the blocked drain -> road runoff cascading across carpark +down stepped bank to river Litter found paper, clothing, bottles and cans , 2 dirty baby nappies + fouled childs undies and 2 woodduck egg on beach
