Large populations of small fish (native?) [coordinators comment: most likely mosquito fish] are present and are actively feeding in the shallows. No continuous flows, water levels dropping, negligible rainfall throughout January. High temperatures have been experienced with 2-3 day periods of temperatures >35degC.
