Water in concrete pit of drain end is opque bright orange in colour. This drain comes from street drainage. Presumably someone emptied liquid waste into a side entry street pit nearby. No rain for over a week, so drain water not yet flowing into river. Contacted council (their drain) at 4.25pm Friday and they said someone would look at it on Monday.
