April is Frog Month in Victoria! 🐸

Autumn is a great time to tune in to the calls of our local frogs. How many can you record this April?

Grab your phone, head outside, and use the Frog Census App to capture their calls and contribute to important citizen science data that your Catchment Management Authority can use.

This platform makes it easier than ever for volunteers, researchers, and the community to explore water quality trends and see the incredible citizen science efforts happening across the state.

🛠️ The “Explain for Me” tool to help interpret parameters
🚦 Traffic-light water quality indicators (where data allows)
💡 It’s been a big project, and I’m so grateful to everyone who contributed ideas and helped test the new features.
⚠️ Heads up: The site will be live for a couple of weeks while we monitor performance and fix any bugs—so if you spot anything, let us know! Your feedback will help make it even better.

The new WaterWatch & EstuaryWatch website and data portal is going live today! 🎉

This new site will make it so much easier for everyone—volunteers, researchers, and community members—to explore water quality trends and learn more about the amazing citizen science work happening across the state.
