Swamp Creek has been flowing since end of May 2016. With a total of 200mm of rain since early May until July 1. the surrounding land is saturated, all our dams and the Billabongs along the Creek are full and overflowing. There are sheets of water on the paddocks. I noted that natural creek barriers in the Creek bed, like piled up branches, help to disperse the waters over larger areas and thus reduce erosion by lowering the current's speed.

Habitat

Same as always. Newly grown grasses stop erosion.
