The water level and appearance were almost identical to the August visit. The water did not come to the edge of the lake. In the northern part of the lake the water was very shallow. Closer to the centre of the lake it appeared a little deeper and choppy because of the wind.
Birds seen at or on the lake were magpies at the edge of the lake; silver gulls on the lake floor. In Beeac there were also Magpie larks, Galah, Red Wattlebirds.
