Water at edge still yellow in appearance. This I feel is due to the vegetation releasing tannins. Obtained water sample from centre of swamp which was still slightly yellow in appearance, but good enough to carry out a full chem test. It was good to walk into a depth of nearly 80mm of water. A number of onlookers at the swamp seating area must have thought I was insane standing in the middle of the swamp water. There was good reasons for this, I was photographing the female swan in her newly constructed nest from last week. I got within 3 meters of the nest.
