The resident swans are out with their cygnets (5) in front of the testing site. The water level is lower than usual, so test water is collected from a shallower stock than usual as I didn't bring waders today, only 1m pole. First day using the new phosphate and dissolved O2 tests. Sample taken from the base of reeds (not really reeds, not sure what they are called) due to the low water level.
