Regional Data Confidence Plans

About this page

Regional Data Confidence Plans document how each regional Waterwatch program meets the minimum requirements of the Data Confidence Guidelines.

Regional Data Confidence Plans

Want to know more specific information about the confidence limits around regional Waterwatch data sets?

Have a look at the regional Waterwatch Data Confidence Plans - they define and describe all aspects of a region’s Waterwatch monitoring program, including standard operating procedures and QA/QC checks (where appropriate).

The plans have a dual purpose. Firstly, the plans encourage informed decision making about the quality of Waterwatch data by documenting details of regional monitoring programs for potential users to follow.

Secondly, Data Confidence plans will help to maintain continuity and momentum of regional programs during the turnover of staff and/or monitors, maximising community monitoring efforts.
