QA/QC Week Reports
Each June, Waterwatch Victoria provides 'mystery samples' to Waterwatch Coordinators and monitors to test their monitoring and identification competencies
What is QA/QC Week?
Each June, Waterwatch Victoria hosts QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) Week across the state.
Waterwatch Coordinators and monitors are invited to test a range of 'mystery samples' prepared by NATA-acredited laboratories. Electrical Conductivity, pH, Turbidity, Reactive Phosphorus and macroinvertebrate samples are available.
This event is an opportunity for participants to self-assess their monitoring competencies, and take steps towards improving the accuracy of their monitoring data.
