Mallee Waterwatch runs educational activities, presentations and events right across the region. Schools and community groups are encourage to participate in a number of fun and interactive activities exploring local river health issues
Mallee Waterwatch Education Program
Mallee Waterwatch staff are available to visit schools and conduct field trips to introduce students to a range of environmental issues such as: the catchment story, water monitoring, aquatic systems and the wonderful world of water bugs. There are a number of interactive activities that Mallee Waterwatch has available, and they are flexible enough to meet individual school needs.
Resources
Mallee Waterwatch has many resources such as 'build a river', 'pollution canisters', water monitoring kits, water bug survey equipment and books which are available for loan by community or school groups wishing to conduct their own water education sessions.
