The "Now and Then" booklet is a collection of images and facts about some aquatic larval and adult invertebrates that depend on Victorian rivers. This booklet is a great starting point for those beginning to discover the animals living in our waterways.

Coranga-mites Action in the Catchment

Coranga-mites Action in the Catchment program is Corangamite Waterwatch's regional education program. This program commenced in 2004 with the participation of twenty-eight schools. Since then, over 40 schools have registered for the eight-month environmental program each year. Professional development and training programs are provided at the start of the school year for teachers.

The second education resource launched by Corangamite Waterwatch in 2004 included two self-guided Stormwater Trails at Balyang Sanctuary, Geelong and Barongarook Creek, Colac. Each trail consists of five stormwater signs and tells of the journey of urban stormwater. The signs support the concepts and lesson plans detailed in the Stormwater Education Manual.Walking these trails has become a very popular outdoor educational activity, resulting in an activity sheet being produced to complement the trail.
