A number of environmental education programs and networks operate in Victoria and beyond.
Water Educators Network
The Australian Water Association developed a Water Educations Network in 2004. The website contains resources, newsletters and upcoming meeting and conference opportunities.
Victorian Environmental Education programs
This DSE link includes information on Victorian organisations that are actively promoting and facilitating environmental education.
Gould League is an environmental education organisation that educate children, schools and communities about the environment and conservation. They are educated through different projects and programs at their local area. There are projects on community recycling, sustainability and marine life.
Oz Green is a community engaging non-profit based organisation that addresses water issues, mainly in Australia. A range of environmental education resources and information on both Australian and International projects are available.
The Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies (CERES). A community project that works towards actions, increasing awareness and social issues on environment that affect urban areas. CERES provide various education programs in 4 areas: environmental, energy, cultural and sustainability. The organisation also provides creative environmental workshops, organic food and training programs and a course on biodynamic agriculture and gardening.
National Biological Information Infrastructure provides a list of links to different education programs on Aquatic Biology and Biodiversity & Environment, from K-3 to Grade 12.
Project WET: Water Education for Teachers. This website is a useful website for educators, children, parents and communities to develop a water education. Many workshop opportunities can be provided by the Project WET Calendars to all the teachers in the country. There are activities shared by participating teachers provided by the educator sections.
Yowie is a website for kids and teachers, on rivers, wetlands desert, woodlands, bushlands and rainforests. There are also a few facts on the environment, such as the threats and protection.
Victoria Zoos site provides information for students and teachers in Melbourne Zoo Learning Resources, Healesville Sanctuary Learning Resources and Werribee Open Range Zoo Learning Resources. The resources are under Early Childhood, Early Years, Middle Years, Later Years, VCE (subdivided into Arts, Studio Arts and Media, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Philosophy and Psychology) and Stick Insect Program.

Sofweb - The Global Classroom Project This is an online database for schools projects, and projects by the Victorian Department of Education and Training. Users may search by keywords or project dates and related projects may provide information needed.
