Corangamite Waterwatch - Covers the regions around Geelong, Colac and the Great Ocean Road.

East Gippsland Waterwatch - Covers the region surrounding Bairnsdale east to the boarder with NSW.

Glenelg Hopkins - Encompasses the southwestern corner of Victoria around Portland and Warrnambool up through Hamilton and south of the Great Dividing Range.

Goulburn Broken Waterwatch - Extends from Lake Eildon in the south around Shepparton and Benalla through to the Victorian/NSW boarder along the River Murray.

Mallee Waterwatch - Covers the north west corner of Victoria.

North Central Waterwatch - Extends north of Ballarat all the way to the River Murray at Swan Hill, including the areas surrounding Bendio, Echuca and Donald.

North East Waterwatch - Covers Victoria's high country, east of Wangaratta.

Waterwatch Melbourne - Encompasses Greater Melbourne from the Werribee Plains to the Yarra Valley and around the Mornington Peninsular and Western Port Bay.

West Gippsland Waterwatch - Extends from Warragul east to the Gippsland lakes from the Great Dividing Range to the coast.

Wimmera Community Waterwatch - Covers the areas surrounding Stawell through to the South Australian boarder from the Grampians north to Lake Albacutya.

Creature feature

Water fleas (Cladocera) are tiny crustaceans. Some species have large antennae which assist in swimming.
