At a state level, the program is supported by the Department of Sustainability and Environment, including partnership projects with the Victorian Water Trust, the Arthur Rylah Institute and the Environment Protection Agency.

At a regional level, the program is supported by the Australian Government, state government agencies - Catchment Management Authorities and urban and rural water corporations, local government, private business, various community organisations, the eduction sector and the scientific community.
